Logo design for the Varkey Foundation

Former president of the United States Bill Clinton is one of the patrons of the Varkey Foundation.

As part of our full service marketing for education we were approach by GEMS Education group to create the logo design for their Educational  foundation.

This service is part of our  marketing offering for and it used the graphic design and development skills from our 10 plus years of experience in the education sector in Dubai. The same skills are applied to creating a set of brand guidelines for the Varkey Foundation logo Design so they could be made available online for 3rd party vendors to download.  The design and development requires concept design and development followed by application to all event touch points and subsequent trademarking the identity for copyright. The Varkey family launch this identity in Dubai in 2011 at DAA and as the creative agency we were invited to see Bill Clinton launch this Foundation initiative to the world press.

At the same time the Logo Design was created we made a basic set of VF guidelines for application across all touch points. To ensure correct application of subsequent digital branding and digital graphics was consistent. The School Agency’s also created a digital marketing strategy that included online brand awareness, Google Ads campaign. The support also included building a (multi-channel) social media community and SEO of the Varkey Foundation website and event design material every time they run an event.

The Varkey Foundation (Former known as the Varkey GEMS foundation) has clear marketing objectives were to deliver the foundations vision and values to a global audience.  An online digital marketing strategy supports their paid media campaigns during the lead up to a global school event. The VF guidelines help build online presence using organic efforts rather than paid media (google Ads) which ultimately is a lot more cost effective in the long run.

Additional VF international  digital guidelines were added when new comms items like social media templates, blog guidelines, SEO are created.  The brand standards covered templates for paid all 10 x google media web banners, traditional media out of home (OOH), Newspaper Press, Ground campaigns (door drop) and Website Design templates for webpages. 

 

Further more we set about creating a Varkey Foundation digital marketing strategy which included a calendar for social media, Paid Media activities were limited to a small budget, as the major efforts were the organic strategy such as content marketing for Blog page, Social media, webpages which included CMS and SEO.  

Since 2007 we have supported the GEMS Education group and Varkey family school launches with School marketing strategies in the region. The group are the largest operator/owner/management of privately owned schools in the world. We are proud to have supported their marketing department with our educational services for over 10 years.
